CARtime Mthatha is a car service and repair workshop which is part of the CARtime group. We offer affordable bakkie and car services, repairs, maintenance, electronic diagnostics, suspension, brake and clutch repairs.  We also carry out all brake and disk skimming in house, as well as carrying out ECU remapping, EGR and DTC error removals.

Owners Bruce & Amelia Scott have a combined experience of 45 years in the motor industry.  Bruce, a qualified Petrol and Diesel technician spent 10 years on the bench before progressing to a workshop managers position at The Garage Kokstad. He joined Motique Toyota, and soon became the dealer principal at Thekwini Toyota.

Amelia, worked at Motique Toyota and later Thekwini Toyota. Amelia became the Toyota Automark manager where she managed both the Sales Department and the entire Service and Reconditioning Centre.

The dynamic duo of Bruce and Amelia, decided to open a CARtime in Kokstad and embraced the CARtime vision to exceed the expectations of their customers by providing a quality car service, at an affordable price and to be proud of the brand.  Using their vast corporate experience, you are assured of top-quality service and repairs, where you arrive as a customer and leave as family!

Four-years after opening CARtime Kokstad, Bruce and Amelia realized the huge demand for a quality RMI approved workshop in Mthatha. Many of the Kokstad clients were travelling from Mthatha just to have their car serviced at CARtime Kokstad, so on the 1^st December 2020, CARtime Mthatha opened – it was just a natural progression!

CARtime Mthatha is an accredited RMI Workshop, a premium member of Right-to-Repair, MIWA and MIOSA.  We offer all our clients a 6-month/10,000 km warranty on all work done and parts replaced.

Right-to-Repair enables us to offer you a service on your new car without voiding the manufacturer’s warranty, irrespective of your car’s mileage!

CARtime Mthatha is an approved vendor for all major Extended Warranty and Service Providers in the South African market.  We therefore provide clients with an option to service your car and/or warranty claims you have, at a RMI approved workshop which rivals any OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) in the area
